Laser Therapy:
Here at skin avenues we have fraxis duo Co2 laser ,the laser peel helps in rejuvenating skin and reduces pigmentation.Lasers more or less helps in resurfacing, exfoliation of top most layers thus reducing surface irregularities and pigmentation.Laser normally needs sessions also clubbing with homecare works great.
CHEMICAL PEELS:
Chemical peels have a very interesting role in PIH.They are known to exfoliate the skin and thus the underlying skin is healthier and brighter. It helps in taking care of pigmentation slowly and nicely simultaneously rejuvenating the skin. For body pigmentation there are various body peels like TCA, Phenol etc which gives good exfoliation and lightening.Body peels are placed at monthly intervals for 6 sessions. There are various types of peels for various indiactions.GLYCOLIC PEEL helps in melasma, for photodamage, rejuvenation.SALICYLIC PEELS works beautifully for acne and oily skin.TCA PEEL is mainly for body, RETINOL PEELS are mainly for acne pigmentation and tanning or resurfacing.
Microdermabrasion:
This treatment is a conventional treatment where we use a vaccum based device for superficial exfoliation. Here either a crystal MDA or Water Dermabrasion is used. This process also helps in improving blood circulation thus providing additional glow.
Body Polishing:
This is a type of MDA where we use a stronger abrasive diamond probe for the body.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma):
This treatment involves drawing of blood, centrifuging it , separating the growth factors and injecting it in the concerned areas like face. As these are growth factors they help in rejuvenating the skin, giving a good glow, reducing pigmentation.
Laser with PRP:
Laser can be clubbed with prp for better results. As we have made microchannels, or abraded the skin through laser, when we add prp there it gives much better results.
